The Journey Begins...

I got tired of not having money, tools, resources and people to help my community the way I really wanted to. No free pressure-washes and yard maintenance could happen without a grant. No nonprofit organization, no grant. No website, no nonprofit organization. So, finally, I took my camera stand and my phone, and went out with less than half a Gb of storage. after knocking on 12 houses asking if I could wash their dishes , a lady saw me dancing from across the street. "No one's home! I'd love to keep watching, but no one's at that house." I then took that opportunity to tell her why I was recording, and that it wasn't for TikTok, but for YouTube. She said she didn't have any dishes to wash, but she did have some boxes that I could take to the curb. And that ended up being my first act of kindness in the entire campaign. Even though it was small, it still felt good; and I made a new friend!
